The Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek ways to improve customer relationships.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters.
· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
· Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
· Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products and services to customer needs and objectives.
· Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
· Maintains a clean work area.
· Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
· Prepare reports on account status.
· Collaborate with the sales team to develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
· Oversee the arrival and due dates of client’s orders.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent organizational skills
· 1-3 years of Sales or Account management experience
· Ability to follow instructions.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work well with all levels of management.
· Proficient with a CRM systems
· Proficient with Microsoft office or similar software
· Basic computer and math skills.
Education and Experience:
· Degree in Business preferred.
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· At least one year of experience in supply chain management or inventory control
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
